A solid oak 1930s sideboard - originally retailed by Harvey Nichols of Knightsbridge.
It has been painted in Annie Sloan's 'Amsterdam Green' over 'Original' and 'Burgundy' and distressed to reveal the colours beneath.
This colour was chosen because it is evocative of the period this piece was made.
The oak top has been sanded to a smooth finish and has several coats of dark wax to complement the dark green below.
2 drawers with cutlery dividers sit above the field panel doors and one cupboard has a half width shelf, the other is full height.
The sideboard is raised on solid turned legs united by stretchers and complete with ceramic pulls with complementary red and green detail.
A solid and sturdy piece with quality craftsmanship, as to be expected from the retailer Harvey Nichols.
